Everybody Loves Watching “Deep Throat”; Did You Know You’ve Been Watching An Actual Rape?

In 1972, the most successful pornographic movie of all time, “Deep Throat,” came out. It is estimated to have earned between $100 million and $600 million since. The film’s lead actress, Linda Lovelace (real name Linda Borman), received only $1,250 for her participation in the film despite being the lead actress. However, the $1,250 she did not receive for herself. The money was taken by her then-husband, Chuck Trainor.

Chuck, who turned out to be a violent guy who beat her, became her manager and pimp. He manipulated Linda into the porn industry where she started with a few small films that did not get much success. These also included a zoophilia movie (human-animal coitus) where Linda has sex with a dog.

In 1980, after leaving the porn industry, she remarried, returned to God and became the mother of two children. Linda published her third autobiography (the first two she wrote in 1974, when she was at the height of her fame as a porn star). In the third one, she admitted to having been raped during her career in the porn industry. Lovelace claimed that throughout her years in the industry she had been exploited and forced to do things against her will.

In 1986, she testified before the attorney general’s pornography committee and claimed that, during the filming of Deep Throat, she was actually being raped and noted that it is a crime the film is still showing. She also claimed that during the making of the film, Zack pointed an M-16 rifle at her (some people on the set claimed she was lying).

She also published her fourth biography, which once again brought back the low moments – the beatings, the group rape, the threats with firearms, the sex she was forced to perform. On April 3, 2002, she lost control of her two-wheeled vehicle, suffered severe injuries and trauma, and on April 22, 2002, was cut off from resuscitation machines and died at the hospital at the age of 53. Chuck Trainor died three months later for unknown reasons.

Despite all her work, Linda died poor and destitute. The film “Lovelace” premiered in 2013; it tells the story of her life and features Amanda Seyfried portraying the role of Linda.
