What’s interesting about this man is that, apart from serving as a member of the city council, he is also a priest at the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It is a parody church founded in 2005 by physicist Bobby Henderson to protest the demand of religious communities that the story of Biblical creation be taught in American schools.┬áIn order to ridicule the initiative, Henderson created the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and even wrote the Gospel, which sold in 100,000 copies.

Today, all over the world there is a belief in “Holy Noodles” and believers are obligated to follow a small and very entertaining number of laws, such as:
– The prayers end with “Japanese noodle soup” instead of “Amen”.
– It is not honorable to teach the theory of the Flying Spaghetti Monster without wearing the Monster’s chosen attire.
– Global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters are a direct result of the decline in the number of pirates in the world since the 19th century.
